CWM Pacific Youth Forum
Celebrating the 128th Annual Assembly of the CUNZ
Held at West Harbour church, this was a wonderful time of enjoying the WH hospitality, renewing contacts with friends from other churches and seeking God for our future.Two strong themes emerged from the meetings;(1) Peer training for our young people to help prevent youth suicide, thanks to funding from CWM. This global project is being facilitated in NZ and the Pacific by Teresa Ngai of Manukau Congregational Church.
(2) Church planting has captured the minds of our churches, we look forward to exciting possibilities.

Following the Retreat the Annual Consultation was held at Three Kings a week later.
West Harbour Youth featured on the Friday evening with worship and a message from Herman Retzlaffe, the CUNZ Youth Facilitator
On Saturday churches worked in groups looking at their Hopes and Dreams, their Strengths and Weaknesses. Each church shared with the meeting, then in groups discussed future possibilities.
May - Pastors and spouses Retreat at Raglan-by-the-sea
This is always a lovely time of learning and relaxing, with the occasional table tennis play off. Then it is time to return to our churches, nourished and refreshed.
